Read the source before the claim
A practical five-question checklist for manufacturer information.

Who is speaking?
A manufacturer page establishes what a company publishes. A retailer page, review video and independent test are different sources with different incentives and methods. Identify the publisher before deciding how much weight to place on a statement. A professional layout does not settle that question.
What exactly is covered?
Look for the complete model name, revision, intended region and publication date. A brand-level statement may not cover every model. A technical figure without a unit or test method cannot support a precise comparison. Keep the original reference beside any note you write.
What is still missing?
A useful summary includes its limits. If no test report is available, say so. If a page changes, revisit the statement rather than preserving an old conclusion. These habits make an information site more reliable than one that simply accumulates confident-sounding text.
